Crazy for Conan O'Brien Rally

Yesterday, hardcore fans of Conan O'Brien braved the rains of Los Angeles to rally outside the Tonight Show studios in support of the late night host. We sent a crew out to find out what happened to Team Coco. Viva Conan O'Brien!

It's sad to see such a nice guy with so much talent get screwed over. I don't like to use the term much, but Conan is a comedic genius. He is one of a kind, and a huge role model of mine.

I think this is a huge mistake on NBCs part. TV execs are to quick with cancellation these days, and half the time they just start another show which is abruptly canceled. Give shows some time to build an audience. Sure Conan struggles with the older crowd, but his connection to the younger crowd keeps him set well into the future. I used to watch Leno just because he was on the same channel as Conan. Looks like I won't be doing that from now on.

When this all airs out, I'm curious to see how it goes down. Leno's a decent guy, but I'd love nothing more than for his ratings to tank. NBC has dug themselves a hole in the eyes of many and the chances that they'll escape unscathed are pretty thin.

Wow. Is it only the Conan fans who are responding? Or does everyone just really dislike Leno? I've got to toss my hat in here and say yes, I'm with Coco too and I don't like Leno. I have been really sad over this decision. They could have at least offered Conan a spot at 10pm. Heh. But ethically, Conan is the better guy and I can understand why he's taking off. :x

Leno and NBC are pretty dull and boring, in my opinion. I only tune in for Conan. Oh and that time Jimmy Failure first started on Late Night. That was awkward.

I loved watching Conan on Late Night and I'm thouroughly disappointed that they are getting rid of him on the Tonight Show. All I know is that I'm with CoCo.

I'm totally on Conan's side. I really dont understand how you could side with Leno, he has never been funny.

Conan O'Brien is my top network talk-show host. He's is a close third behind Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert for my overall favorites hosts, but that's great company. All three of them love and respect their fans.

I never liked Leno from day one (especially given how he stole The Tonight Show in the first place) and always watched Letterman until Conan took over.

Leno's jokes are easy, simplistic, safe, and in no way sharp. Conan, on the other hand, takes risks in comedy, isn't afraid to fail (and, when he does, he always calls himself out on it), and will "go there" for a joke. He's smart, witty, sharp, and so is his audience.

As a "Midwesterner" in the heart of "Leno Country", I hate the fact that there are so many mouth-breathers here who LOVE Leno because he's "polite" and "doesn't do dirty jokes". It makes me sick.

Way to go Conan! Things like this are the reason I've been watching since 96!

That's awesome.. I hope NBC feels the full lash back from their horrible choice of bumping Coco

haha... who's the creepy person who reached out and touched the back of Conan's head? Not gonna lie: I probably would've done the same thing.

This is why Jay fails. He never could've prompted something like this. The awesome uniqueness of Conan is reflected in his unique, crazy, brilliant, amazing fans. Both are just one of a kind =)

THAT IS AMAZING. THIS is why Conan is the man and NBC is evil. He actually cares about his fans and appreciates their support.
