"I must have missed the part where something new to the mmo market is being seen here. Cross-platform gaming, or "wilderness" are not really going to cut it here guys.
You developers have a chance to create something from nothing. But keep giving us the same old played out games and scenarios.
Super Heros : check
Costumes : check
"unique" powers : yup
Something new and exciting? ..... a nemesis! HOMERUN GUYS! -.-"

"CoH with slightly better graphics and gameplay. I'll wait for DC Universe Online."

"Becareful, Bill Roper is involve, he tends to hide his games with his silver tongue, when in reality, it sucks. I'm sorry but this guy has had a few failures, Hellgate : London was a EPIC fail, waste of $50. You dont need to take my word for it but look, hes trying to take on DC online, and the City of Heroes and villains genre. He most likely will not succeed."

"even if this cat has had floppes, everything that waz suppost to go into Marvel universe when into this plus hes not goin against CoH, there made from the same company,so they have ample hero mmo experiance to go on, this is gonna be better than DC, but im still gettin both XD"

"Bet it will cost a fortune just to play it... Of course that's the same with all of the 360's games."

"Concerning Champions Online and City of Heroes/Villains being made by the same company... This is not true. What is true is that City of Heroes was originally developed by Cryptic Studios while being published by NCcoft. That is until NCsoft bought the "City of" franchise and intellectual property in November of 2007. And with the purchase most of the designers/writers and other staff went with it to a new studio owned by NCsoft.
So are they trying to compete with CoH and CoV? You betcha.
I am interested to see what this game is truly like to play and what kind of power/costume customization. The Arch-Nemesis feature sounds kind of neat too."
