"The game looks great, but how is this supposed to be an RPG. It seems much more FPS than RPG. No classes, no turn-based combat, no character driven story. Fallout 3 looks like it is as much an RPG as Bioshock (a good game in its own right but you get my point)."

the main thing that should give you any assurance are the great games these guys at bethesda have made in the past. oblivion was amazing, i was crack glued to that game for over 140 hours!!! everything they do is quality. Dunjin, that its "not going to be a rpg" cause of blah blah blah. don't worry at all, the core elements are going to be there; and will be built upon to truly make something we have never seen in this industry before."

"@Everyonewhocanread: With RPG's you're supposed to level up and improve yourself to effect the outcome of the character, while with FPS you're stuck with a set amount of health, bullets, etc. which continues throughout the game. This game looks great, and I love Bethesda, but I'm still conserned with how enemies level up. I like to get my but kicked in areas I'm not supposed to be in (or find a way to sneak through that area to get a higher level treasure haul) and a god like feeling of sending your enemies flying because you've spent hours playing. I also don't like this bullet time or queing system. If you suck at a game, take it on easy mode. Not everyone can get 1000 achievement points in CoD4 (I did!) but there should be some semblance of difficulty that allows veteran players to face a far scarier monster than most can handle."

I must say I've been waiting for this game for the better part of 10 years. I've heard this and that arguement. like the ones above about the V.A.T.S. system and the RPG elements or the FPS elements. All I have to say to those arguements is COME ON... It's FALLOUT. I think Bethesda going to do an amazing job. Oh and Rogue09 just wait till you run into a DeathClaw and you'll be thanking Bethesda that they put in the V.A.T.S. lol Fallout 3 is still so far away. I want more on it. Looks amazing so far."
