I would totally watch a 30 minute version of Fresh Ink. The comic industry NEEDS a show like that. (I am just discovering some nice web shows out there... please let me know what are the best ones though since I just started looking.) But Blair is one smart lady and I'd give anything to see her do a long form proper show on G4 instead of turning it on to always seeing that COPS is on. It’s 2010 and Fresh Ink Online host Blair Butler is back with a whole slew of new comics. Actually a few are held over from last week when we were away. So sue us. Anyways, Blair gives you the rundown on Sweet Tooth, Resurrection, The Last Days of American Crime, Blackest Night: Suicide Squad, Cinderella, Siege and Stumptown. But is it Punisher Max or Blackest Night: The New Guardians that gets the Pick of the Week nod? Tune in and find out!
Blackest night #6 was great and I couldn't wait to read it so I aked my lovely fiance to pick it up for me so I could read it when I got home from work which I did immediately and loved it. One quick question though Blair, what do you think of Red Robin? I thought the last weeks issue was great and have enjoyed this series since it started. Detective Comics gets some love what about Tim Drake Wayne?

On last night's Attack of the Show, Blair Butler dropped a comic book bombshell: Jonathan Hickman's new Marvel mini-series, Shield, will be on shelves in April 2010.
In Shield, Hickman and artist Dustin Weaver go all the way back to ancient Egypt to chronicle the history of Shield, and detail how heroic historical figures worked to protect the Earth from Galactus, the Celestials and other terrible adversaries. Sounds absolutely epic.
