This show is what I've been waiting for. If they stay true to the comic book's story, I will be impressed. But I automatically know it's going to have to cut out a lot of the gory stuff. A TV MA rating will make me happy.

Its pronounced "PRAY-leens" And yes...they are delicious! :) For the record, the recipe that is in Issue #1 is an ACTUAL praline recipe that you really can make. Really...try it! My only suggestion is to beat the butter in at the end rather than combining it at the beginning. They're incredible. This is absolutely my favorite new series so far; I'm hoping that as the story develops more it doesn't disappoint. Great show!

Spot on, Blair.
Daytripper #9 for me, was the best single issue I've ever read. Granted I have not been reading long but I have already read a lot and this one just completely blew me away. This whole series has just affected me so strongly, so many times. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves for a long, long time. Cannot wait for #10.

A year ago, I had never read a comic book or a graphic novel. Then i started watching Fresh Ink and now I have a whole book case full of graphic novels and trades. I love it when you do the graphic novel segments of Fresh Ink. The city I live in doesn't have a comic book store, and the book store that does sell a few select comics and graphic novels are way over priced. A pro tip for all the people who don't have a comic book store in their city, get an Amazon Prime membership, free two day...

Harvey Pekar dead: American Splendor comic writer was 70
Harvey was a an observer of life with a unique way of reporting his insights to everyone else, a savant of brilliant proportion who sometimes suffering from very bad timing, as when he pissed off Letterman by attacking GE, who owned the network who made him famous.
Anyone who hasn't seen American Splendor in print or the condensed movie version has missed out on a brilliant performance by the cast as well as...

Blair,
Love the show. You do a great job. I have been watching for about two years even though I haven't been into comics for almost 20 years. Got back in earlier this year with Old Man Logan. Recently picked up Irredeemable and loved it. Thanks for the heads up.

I would also like to see a rating of King City at some point, be it the trade or the monthly. I love that book.
On a side note, has anyone been reading Electric Ant? Fascinatingly weird.
