Duke Nukem is rising from the dead...maybe. Gamers are fiercely debating the authenticity of a screen shot from from an apparently in-development Duke Nukem game reportedly called Duke Nukem: D-Day. It's unclear whether this is a brand-new game starring the mouthy action hero or a rebranded version of Duke Nukem Forever or the unrevealed Gearbox Software creation Duke Begins.
The screen shot appeared on a Duke Nukem Facebook fan page. It's unclear who runs or updates the Facebook page and attempts to confirm its authenticity through publisher Take-Two have so far been unsuccessful. If I hear back from the publisher with more information, I'll let you know.
Curiously, however, Duke Nukem: D-Day isn't a new concept. Unseen64 points out N-Space was once working on a game with the same name for PlayStation 2. It never saw the light of day. N-Space was also responsible for a series of other Duke Nukem spin-offs, including Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes and Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, both released for the original PlayStation.

I'll never believe anything with Duke Nukem in the title, maybe once its in stores I will but I still might be skeptical.

The soldier looks cool, but the Cylord Emperor (that's what he's called in DN3D) and the stadium looks like concept art.
I say it's fake, but will cross my fingers in hope. Duke Nukem deserves a reboot.

any time a camaera focuses on something the background is blury but the background in this verison is pixelated now i have played nukem at all but it sems like a stunning fake but that dosent mean there isnt a new nukem and other of plenty games have done this but i can tell u its not concept art.

I tend to see Duke Nukem as many people see Joan Rivers, zombies, and crazy ex-girlfriends; No matter how hard you try to get rid of them, they just keep comming back.
