James Cameron’s Avatar: The Video Game drops you into the war-torn planet of Pandora where humanity is locked in a death struggle with the planet’s native race, the Na’vi. Obviously, this means that players will get to experience two drastically different combat styles, and this new multiplayer trailer demonstrates how this dichotomy plays out in the game’s multiplayer mode.

Wow thank God I pulled all my reserves from gamestop. This game has the makings of section 8, or Turok. I wish companies would just make a online multi player OR a action fps single player campain. This game looks and just makes you feel like GARBAGE.

I thought the single player looked okay (which is really good for a movie game) but this multiplayer looks like nothing special. It seems to cluttered to me. It's funny cause I'm someone who'll usually take a third person over a first person shooter. I actually think this multiplayer would look better in a first person perspective.

I disagree the game looks like it has potential and i highly doubt that it will be critically hammered like other move tie in. The multiplayer doesnt look to special but at least it has mutliplaeyr and a single player game rahter than crappy tie ins like Terminator Salvation the game. Overall i think it wshould be a decent package, but i highly doubt itll sell more than a couple thousand copies seeing of how Modern Warfare is owning love at the moment.

Like said above, I wish these developers wouldn't \"Tack on\" a multiplayer. Save the disc space and make an even better Single Player, O\or even Co-op. Multiplayer modes on games that shouldn't have them RUINS the game.

This trailer does nothing for me. It's a cluttered mess and I have no idea what's going on. Instead, why don't they explain the different mode types and how the action differs from one character class to the next.

It seems no one can make a decent 3rd person multiplayer game anymore unless it early \"SOCOM\" games or \"Gears of War\". I mean, the multiplayer in \"Uncharted 2\" was great and all but its nothing that kept me going back for more. Come to think of it, I actually played \"Lost Planet\" more than that one.

Like always, I'll give it a try with no real expectations of it being a \"C.O.D.\" killer. And at least I'll know there's no way it could be as bad as the \"Bionic Commando\" multiplayer.

I'm not sure what everyone else is seeing. But they game doesn't look that bad to me. Granted the trailer doesn't make me fill with excitement, I will still rent it to give it a chance.

Idk...I can see why people would go either way on this debate. The multiplayer has the right idea imo, but it needs to be tweeked a bit to make it a lot more appealing. It looks like fun, but then again, it looks like Battle Front, or LOTR Conquest, and those get old after a bit.

dude the movie is gona be ok and the game is gonna suck. its just a lame marketing ploy to trick kids into buying a crap games. all they care about is the profit, cause no matter what any of us say some 10 year old is gonna go see that movie. hes gona be all excited. hes going 2 go and get all his money get the game and be sad when he pops the disk in is console.
