As if surviving in the cold, unforgiving vastness of space wasn’t hard enough, now you have to worry about a bunch of jerks photon torpedoing your ship into glowing bits? Well, I guess that’s the price you pay for living in some cool sci-fi future. Check out this new combat trailer for Star Trek Online to find out some of the ways you’ll be dealing spacey death next year.

is it just me, or does this game seem to be a little bland ever since cryptic took over development?

I meant every single trailer I see is either explosions in space with phaser fire or running around on the ground...there is a point when firing phasers then getting some explosion can get boring to watch....

or cryptic just needs to make better trailers....

I kinda agree with you, Scorcher. They have mentioned exploration and diplomacy. Show it off too. And isn't the Klingons suppose to be a playable faction? Show it off too.

I didn't see any Jem'Hadar fighters, Delsaber, but I know they have been in some of the other trailers. But is that a Son'a Command Cruiser over that Borg planet, though?
