The original game is going under the high-definition knife and will be released in its native territory in February. There's some bad news, though. Ubisoft confirmed to me it will not be publishing No More Heroes on Xbox 360 and PS3 in the US.

"Ubisoft will not be publishing either of these versions," a company spokesperson told me.

The company did not provide any reasons why they're passing. But just because Ubisoft is passing on the revamped No More Heroes, doesn't mean the HD-enabled versions of Travis Touchdown's first adventure won't show up here, but another publisher will have to step up.

Ubisoft is still behind the franchise, however, as the company will be publishing the sequel on Wii over here.
