I'm currently playing a game that I can't talk about. It might be the sequel to a certain zombie shooter from last year. But today's Morning Hangover isn't about that game, but Left 4 Dead

, otherwise known as the game that got my girlfriend to finally understand how to control a game with dual analog sticks ("You can look around with the other stick?!"). Left 4 Dead feverishly captured my attention not because of its interesting technical achievements like the A.I. director or the way it told the story of Left 4 Dead's zombie infection through scribbles on the wall, but because it made my girlfriend finally figure out the control scheme for modern video games. Why? Because she loves zombies.
For me, my favorite Left 4 Dead moment wasn't even in the game itself, but simply knowing she was in the other room, mowing down the undead and loving it.

Favorite L4D moment would have to be how me and four of my friends were playing no mercy expert till 4 in the morning and we finally got to the end and lets just say i left them for dead when the chopper came. They hated me for like a week. I R winner

My favorite L4D moment was throwing a pipe bomb for the first time and just seeing the fountain of zombie blood going up into the air. That game is just awesome and I simply can not wait for this Tuesday.

Favorite moment is hearing the Tank for the first time . I was like "did you guys hear that ? What is that noise?" Next thing you know I was flying through the air from a Tank punch!!!

favorite L4D moment is when the xbox live community helped me out with getting all my achivments. this game realy brought people together for selfless reasons

Playing the L4D 2 demo.... holy balls is it awesome !
I didn't care much for L4D but I am buying this one for sure.

A few friends and I were playing the 4th part on No Mercy and a horde rushes is us a few seconds after getting off the elevator. One of my friends gets separated and a boomer throughs up on him. He starts to run blind and then a tank Falcon-Punches him off the roof and he fell to his death. He inadvertently helped us because all the zomies that were attracted to him ran off the roof and followed him down.

Fav L4D moment was at my friends house, and i had never played it before, then i heard a little girl crying (my friend has surround sound) so i tried to follow the sound. I followed the sound into a dark room turned on my flash light, then told my friend to come over to me, because i had thought i had found a survivor... all i hear after that was my friend yelling "What the hell do you think your doing! that dosen't even look like a survivor!"

Mine has to be the time I was stuck in the mall, taking pictures, and helping people out through the security room.

I'm doing homework, my girlfriend is playing through no mercy and a tank spawns behind a door facing away from her. When she opens the door it's waiting for her. She screams and freaks out and throws the controller at me. I pick it up and kill it for her, then we go back to what we were doing.
