I know, I know, it's hard to think about any multiplayer shooter that isn't Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but Electronic Arts and DICE are quietly polishing up what's looking like one of the most promising entries for 2010, Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Producer Gordon Van Dyke recently dropped by with an updated build of the PlayStation 3 version and walked us through the multiplayer side of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, showing us the various classes, vehicles and environments players will encounter when the game releases in March. The experience should be similar on Xbox 360 and PC, too!

i gotta say, its looking great, but the audio is even better. i like how the voices shouting about, actually sound like regular guys. kinda sick of hearing hollywood voices. the problem ive always had with battlefield games is that it takes me 5 minutes to find any action and a split second after that to get popped from behind.

i wish gamestop and dice (mainly dice) didn't fhuk me over with the beta. has anyone that preordered from gamestop recieve a code? such crap. it just pisses me off so much seeing sites like ign giving the codes away like candy.

BC 1 was really good, I was hooked like hell on that game, but it had so many small problems with it (small blast range, no cooking grenades, poor C4 throw range, DOG TAG PROBLEMS (not counting them etc.), smgs destroyng helicopters in 3 shots, no customization, launched with 8 maps and 1 mode, no resurrection (but just got to that point in the video so YES!) and a few other small problems. They really really really rushed BC 1. I also see the kill cam which I thought was a bad idea (sucked in BF2 Modern Combat when it showed exactly where they were.) but I see it's not as bad as I thought it would have been. They didn't go too much into the cutomization, so I want to see more of that. OH did I metion horrible squad and balancing problems, yeah that blew. MW2 is good, but I will admit I am a Battlefield fanboy. Anyway I am jonesing for this game and can't wait for it.

I also think they should give the beta keys out for the true BF fans out there and those who really love this franchise, but instead they gave it out to people who pay for IGN insider and crap like that. I really would love to give them my point of view on what they could fix.

@ Steveo: Wow man. For being a Battlefield guy you just made it sound like a terrible game. The sad part is I completely agree but would still rather play Battlefield BC MC over any of the CoDs. I'm still waiting on a copy of the new CoD so I can't judge yet but I think It'll end up being like any other CoD game: Repetitive and full of campers and cheaters. And whiney kids. And racist bigots. Oh wait. That's why I stopped Halo and the last CoD.

You know what. Never mind. I hope all those winners keep playing the CoD. It's much better for them to stay there and out of my Battlefield.

Games going to be a beast! i loved the first 1 and i still play it,the only problem with the first was that it was hard to join a damn room,it would take me about 20 mins to fing 1 room,and it still does.MW2 is nothing compared to this

I know I did make it sound bad, but the true core game play was great. I actually didn't notice much of it until I got to the highest rank (which was extremely easy and fast, maybe 5 days playing it a good amount of time) and then after that I started to notice it all. And talking about the ranking system for this game, it was pretty bland as compared to say, BF2 MC - In that game, they at least had the true military rankings, not what the two newest Battlefields did (especially 1943) with bronze this, silver that, and gold whatnot, and that was just Lieutenant, then you have to do 2nd lieutenant. It just seemed really unoriginal. But I need to stress, no matter what, BF is king.

Ive thought of buying this when it comes out, but it just feels like another Battlefield game, CoD isnt the Best and Greatest thing ever like most people try to tote it as, but it is a good game, and probaly better than this.
