hmm at first i wasnt goin to get this game not becuz of the terrosit level more becuz i thought it mirrored so closely to cod 4 but after hearing from two intelligent critics and experts i goin to buy it sometime next week on my paycheck

When I reached the Air Port Level, I am not ashamed to say that I went in "Guns Blazin" I tried to kill everyone I could, even the ones crawling on the ground. Now this doesnt mean I'm a terrorist or have no morals, It's more like to me It's just a level and I want to have fun and enjoy everything about it.

Why oh why is this game getting so much attention.. It looks great.. Game-play is pretty good.. And that's about it! Multiplayer with shooters is only fun when you hook up with your buddies and play matches. And only with your buddies.. Why even come out with a singleplayer campaign for 1st person shooters? Have not found a true 1st person shooter with a fantastic story! Campaign is roughly 6 hrs, so seriously why have all this money backing the game? If your gonna come out and make a shooter for online play, then maybe they should only focus on online play.. You want to take it to the next level with gaming then do it that way! Save the money you put into the single-player campaign and make the game cheaper for an online only game.. Download-able content could be the campaign. Seriously! That's the trend with shooters right? Online play? Save your money and time! I didn't buy the game for the same reason I didn't buy the first one.. My friends have it and when I want to play with them I go over to their home. I know Halo was huge back in the day with Xbox, but it wasn't the story or graphics. It was the online play. Think about it.. What are you paying for, online play or campaign.. Again think about it! Before you start bashing me, again think about it!

About the PC...

The game, I am sure is decent for the PC. However, taking away features without any major change in content is not acceptable. In this video it states:

Matt Keil: ...If I go in there and that game is not what I expected it to be after comming out of 2 and 4. Like, I will be pissed. What did you do? Why did you give me this crap game?

That once statement by Matt Keil sums up Modern Warfare 2 for PC users. Imagine, if IW decided that Modern Warefare would leave out the Multiplayer for XBOX360 - how would XBOX360 users like MW2? It is a major feature of the game to most XBOX users. Sure there are probably some XBOX users who dont like XBOX live or Multiplayer. Likewise, there are some PC users who will probably love not looking for new servers or being forced to download free new MODS and free new maps.

However, the PC-Gamer community are the people who probably do have a console at home. However, they make a CHOICE to play the PC-GAME instead of a XBOX or PS3 game. I have a PlayStation 3 myself - I bought GTA4 and Forced Unleased. I have finished Forced Unleased and I am no where close to finishing GTA4 nd I probably never will. Why did I buy a PS3? At the time, a BluRay DVD Player was the same price as a PS3 - and I saw a moment where I could get one system that can give me an additional option of playing some PS3 games versus just playing BluRay DVDs. I even use a game pad to play my movies and sometimes it feels like a video game when I see some movies.

With all that being said. There is no point in doing a PC Only version of the game. I am sure the PC version is just as "good" as the XBOX or PS3 version. However, we PC-Gamers are angry because we feel we lost a BIG PORTION of our game. To quote Mr Matt Keil, "...If I go in there and that game is not what I expected it to be after comming out of 2 and 4. Like, I will be pissed. What did you do? Why did you give me this crap game?"

That is our arguement!

...there is no point in doing a PC review of the game. What we have lost is not something you can find in a box for 2 hours or 2 days. It is a bit more than that. The game might be just "as good" as the PS3 and XBOX, but that is not the point.

its a good game, but they went OD with perks, killstreaks, and deathstreaks. painkiller deathstreak snuff said. not enough shooting theres just too many things going on at once, they take away from the game rather than add to it. "less is more" IW

I understand that feeling Matt Kiel is talking about when he remarks how the airport shooting scene was "not offensive but unpleasant." For some reason, even though its just a video game, certain violent scenes in games make me feel uncomfortable to the point that I feel like I'm doing something immoral. I think to myself that it's kind of sad that I'm senselessly killing people for "fun" especially when "its just a video game."It's weird, because I only get this guilty feeling when I play violent games that promote senseless killing, like GTA IV for example. It just feels wrong and despicable that gaming has to go to such violent standards to be considered fun. There's better ways of having fun with video games, but killing and running over people in a virtual city is just not for me.

Very good job guys. GIVE ME MORE!!! You should really start doing more of these review discussions for other big releases coming up. It gives us more info on the review that is not your funny 5 min video reviews or the written reviews. It gives the reviewer a chance to defend there point a little differently. I would love to see videos like for the reviews of L4D2 and AC2. Plz.

Dedicated servers for the PC version are 100% necessary for the game to work. I can not believe they got rid of it out. Since the PC version is way easier to hack there needs to be more admin. with dedicated servers there's almost always an admin around to look out for hackers. I feel that the PC version in the next few months will grow into a huge joke with all the hackers running around unchecked.
