has been the unreliable multiplayer. Lag is prevalent in Tekken 6, undermining players' ability to react. Fortunately, Namco Bandai says it's issuing a patch for Tekken 6 to address these issues "soon."
"To improve the online game experience for players of TEKKEN 6, NAMCO BANDAI Games is developing a downloadable update which will be available as soon as it has passed rigorous testing procedures," said the company in a brief statement.
It's unknown when the patch will actually arrive, but the message from Namco Bandai seems to come in response to the slew of reviewes that have criticized Tekken 6 for poor performance online.
"More details regarding the content of the update and the timing of its release will be announced shortly," said the company.

i really liked tekken and this game looks just as good. i hope this patch solves multiplayer problem.
:( microsoft lost my xbox 360 and i still have not played ODST :(

Nothing hurts more than losing a match online because the game needs a second to register that you want to block...

Jesus Christ, its about time!!! This shouldn't have needed to be patched, it should have been right the first time after as much time was spent making the game. If anyone played Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection online you should know it was laggy as well but nothing to the effect of what 6 is. Either lower the frame rate or disable some special effects, I don't care . I love the gameplay of tekken 6 and am fully willing to sacrfice the asthetic quality of the game for the sake of salvaging some great gameplay that I believe is there underneath!

Same old same old. Why is it the only games that seemed to have decent out of the box lag fixes were SSFIITEHD and DOA? Sigh....
