Oh, Bayonetta, is there anything you can't do? From gaining a rare 40/40 from legendary Japanese publication Famitsu to reigniting interest in hack n' slash action games at a time when God of War III still feels like an eternity from arriving, the pistol-toting witch with some sway in her hips officially has my attention.
Thanks to X-Play's Mike Demski, who sacrificed $100 to the Japanese Import Gods, I managed to play Bayonetta for an hour. Although I was turned off by the prologue, the game blossomed very quickly.
Check out my preview impressions here!
What do you think? Are you excited to play it?

Being a gamer for so long and working in the industry has given me good insight and I can usual call if I'll like a game almost from the time its announced but, I am almost ready to admit I've misjudged this game. Im willing to give it an honest try.

Game looks great. Really excited to get my hands on this one again (had like five minutes at PAX). BTW, how many months are in January?

why don't they just review it? it's not like the copy is illegal or anything.

possibly a good game, but as for the Famitsu hype, just bear in mind that they gave Nintendogs a 40 and have handed out about five other 40's within 2009 alone. I'll rent it first
