In spite of my relative indifference toward the film and book series, I am TheFeed's official Twilight expert. I'm not sure how this happened or why -- perhaps I committed some horrible sin in a previous life?-- but I accept my duty to bring you all relevant news concerning Twilight.
According to the Anime News Network, Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear is a "huge fan" of the Twilight series. Kojima is joining Evangelion character designer/manga creator Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and Ryuji Gotsubo, the illustrator of the Japanese edition of the Twilight novels, in judging a Twilight: New Moon fan art contest.
I'm hoping to finish my pointillism portrait of Edward in time to enter!

It's awesome that Hideo is a fan. I think it's pretty damn cool that Twilight so insanely popular not only in America but around the globe.
I really enjoyed reading through the Twilight Saga, both times, and I'm looking forward to the release of New Moon. Go ahead and judge me haters. I don't care. I'll be seeing New Moon opening day.

I dont know whether to day congrats SJ or sorry. you are now in prime position for tons of young, possibly hot, poon but are probably going to get all that kaibashed by the wife. I personally would place subliminal messages on Patrick or Brian's computer and then test them with flash cards to show their "knowledge" of the shiny vampire series.

Again, this does shine some light on the Vamp deal. On another note though, doesn't Twilight really suck the literal balls? I don't understand the phenomenon. If I wanted teen angst I'd go slap around some high school kids.

I think it would be interesting if Kojima was put in charge of creating a Twilight game. I know I don't like the books or the movies, but I would definitely play a Twilight game made by Kojima.
