Borderlands Bug-Fixin' Patch Now Live On Xbox 360 And PlayStation 3

Gearbox Software's Borderlands may have gamers buzzing, but it didn't come out of the gate in perfect condition. There are bugs and glitches needing addressing. The first attempt to make things right came early this morning for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, as Gearbox rolled out a patch that addresses some issues specific to each platform and others rooted in the game itself.

"Many issues have been addressed here, but we are continuing work on support updates for all platforms," said Gearbox community manager Ennui on Gearbox's boards, "and will deploy fixes for every version as soon as possible and continue to support all platforms. If you are experiencing an issue that has not been addressed, please post on our technical support forums and let us know!"

Xbox 360 changes:

Fixed a bug which caused players and other things in the world to appear incorrectly on clients in networked games
Fixed a bug in which players gibbed in arena combat disappeared
Fixed a bug which caused the dollars counter to spin continuously
Fixed a bug that caused the digger elevator to be unusable after completing the Find Tannis mission
Weapon mapping to the D-pad should no longer reverse left and right
Various localization and other text and tooltip corrections
The introductory quests with CL4P-TP should now always progress properly all the time
Lilith's Phase Strike ability now works as intended
Load times have been improved

PlayStation 3 changes:

Load times have been improved
Lilith's Phase Strike ability now works as intended
The introductory quests with CL4P-TP should now always progress properly
Fixed a bug that caused the digger elevator to be unusable after completing the Find Tannis mission
Weapon mapping to the D-pad should no longer reverse left and right
Fixed a crash when ejecting the disc during the autosave warning splash screen
Players in a lobby should no longer experience long loading when starting a game after one player leaves
A bug which caused players and other things in the world to appear incorrectly on clients in networked games has been fixed
Fixed a bug in which players gibbed in arena combat disappeared
Changed how space required for saves is calculated
Fixed a bug which caused the dollars counter to spin continuously
Various localization and other text and tooltip corrections

How about fixing the achievement unlock bugs? I had to start a new character to get the blood on the tires and exploder achievements to work. In my first playthrough I rammed like 1000 enemies and didn't get it and blew up another 1000.

Im so glad that there was a bug with Lilith's Phasewalk, because it sucked. Before you could either activate it and deactivate it be enemies and let the discharge do damage, or attack something once while in phasewalk and then repeat the above, it sucked but now i'll be happy

I waited for this game for ever..and now that its here ( on the PC ), you can't connect to anyone ever?! I will never again pre-order man. First Dragon Rising ( on the pc ) has the worst Voice over IP ever..with no talk of a fix. Now Brderlands comes out..unfinished in the QC department either? Unacceptable guys. You held the game back anyway. You mean none of that was about fixing bugs in I don t know multi player? Isn t that the whole point of this game? I don t pretend to understand all that goes into game making, but ive been a hardcore gamer since seven years of age, I am now 31. This type of release is not ok. Stop releasing your BETA to us, and give us a finished product. Don t let me be your test subject any more. When were shelling out $59.00 for a game, you shouldn t make it complete via patches or updates .

So where are all of the level 50 weapons? In the strat guide it says that once you hit level 50 the game respecs itself to have all level 50 enemies and only level 50 weapon drops.

have a problem playing co-op splitscreen on ps3, game shutters and skips when alot of action on screen and both players firing, turned of 1080p and still have problem, wondering if anyone has had this problem or if a patch will clear it up
