In case you’re just dying to find yet another way to share every waking minute of your life with your ever-expanding network on online friends, you’ll be please to know that Microsoft is now holding sign-ups for participation in its preview program for the upcoming Xbox Live update, which will add Twitter, Facebook and Zune Video Marketplace and Last.fm support to the Xbox 360.
Just head over to Microsoft’s sign-up page, provide all the relevant info, and then Twitter furiously about waiting to be able to use Twitter with a 360 controller.
Anyone signed-up for the preview program yet? What new feature are you most interested in using?

Thanks for using my tip! Yeah I'm signed up and hopefully this preview program will go as smoothly as the last one for the most recent NXE update. I'm most excited about the streaming music with last.fm and also interested in how the Facebook integration will work. Will FB users on PCs be able to see our avatars? Will they also be able to see our current Dashboard status like with the Windows Live Messenger integration? And yeah I don't care about Twitter.

i think that it would be more helpful to them if they allowed 16 year olds sign up. they have a large teenage demographic, some of which will be able to provide useful insight into the software. a lot of facebook users are underage, so the software update will be really useful to those who have both an xbox and a facebook account.

Just signed up!! I made the cut the last time and loved throwing my new avatar clothes on my friends face!! Hell I don't even have a Facebook or Twitter account but this will def make me get one!! Also Zune Marketplace watching 1080p streaming FTW!! eat your heart out Blu-ray!!!

I'll just be happy to buy movies instead of renting them. That's been my only request and now I'm satisfied. If you want to use Twitter and FB on a game console, go ahead. I'd rather use my cell for those two.
My view is this: if you want websites to work on a game console, build a web browser!
