What a week. Those rumors about the two new races in World of Warcraft have really lit a fire under the collective asses of the MMO community. Although I fear the Worgen will attract a whole new kind of furry-fetishist into WoW. We'll have to just wait and see.
Moving on, this week Casey will also tell you about the character details recently revealed about the Smuggler class in Star Wars: The Old Republic, City of Heroes upcoming powers customization, and the fact that Huxley has finally began their beta test. - I <3 the MMO report, good show this week!
- I want to play Champions Online with Casey on the 360!
- If you can somehow get me mpegs/avi/quicktime versions of the shows so I don't have to deal with pulling whatever kind of flash video off the internet, I will make you your own Auto-Tune the news video... I mean, I'm still going to do it either way, but it'll just be faster and easier if I already have the video files in an easily editable format.

City of Heroes is gonna need a lot more than a character customization to live past the release of Champions Online, they are going to need a miracle. I noticed this during the last double experience points weekend none of the servers were full not even freedom the most active server... it seems NCSoft has relentlessly beaten this game to death with the nerf bat. The PvP is one sided and thanks to Architect Entertainment, running real missions with a team is non existent. I do hope that Cryptic feels bad about what has happened to their baby. But then again they made the choice to sell it. if they hadn't CoH could have been something greater than what it once was, but now... as soon as Champions Online is released most the players will move to CO and the ones that are faithful to CoH will later move to DC online after its release. but this time i hope Cryptic learned a valuable lesson and wont end up selling CO off to the highest bidder like they did to CoH.

I'm absolutely (P) at SE, I felt FFXI was a betrayal anyway, as they basically just upgraded the typical MMO concept when they released that one, and didn't really offer the refreshing gameplay I expect from FF titles, especially since they attempted to draw a console fanbase to a online gameplay format. But FFXIV is just a ridiculous failure of ingenuity and creativity, they basically copied the races given in FFXI and it has the basic same theme as FFXI too, it looks like they got part way into a redevelopment for FFXI and just decided it should be another MMO, I mean, the Same (F) Races, how pathetic is that. This is not Everquest, FF is suppose to mix it up regularly.
I hope SE goes bankrupt over this MMO, they've been (B)(S) their fans over and over again with all these cheap rereleases, and sequels, scatter development on a half dozen systems, and blaitant disreguard for their own namesake, it's time for a new company to step in and bring back the fresh ingenuity and creativity SquareSoft used to have before they got fat and happy with ripping off their fans.
