For an update on the DC Universe G4tv.com's Blair Butler met up with DC's senior story editor Ian Sattler. Among the topics discussed are the Blackest Night crossover event, Wednesday Comics (a newsprint-format limited-series with Brian Azzarello, Neil Gaiman, and more!), Dick Grayson (Nightwing) serving as Batman, and JSA All Stars. Blackest Night, a DC-wide event stemming from Green Lantern, brings back many deceased heroes as undead villains. Dead guys shown include Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Earth-2 Superman, Elongated Man, and more. Watch the entire interview for an extensive update on the DCU.
Killing off Martian Manhunter really bummed me out. While he was never a top-tier character like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, J'onn J'onzz was the heart and soul of the Justice League. I hope one of the results of Blackest Night is that some heroes get to return. It's a cop out, but the Justice League with Martian Manhunter feels a bit empty.
You guys and dolls have any thoughts on these DC happenings?

I just saw Batman running in the background while i was watching Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, so Blair, that'd be a good place to start. It was right after Bill & Ted met "So-crates"

AnglesandDemons,
Clearly you haven't been reading the comics or the interviews with Mr. Johns....they aren't simply ZOMBIES....they aren't looking to eat brains....there is so much more to it than dead heroes!
