Why can't they just make more DL content. Their will be three GH release in a span of a year Rock Band only one (Beatles don't count) if so the 4 GH releases compared to RB. So obviously it's about the music not continued added features. If GH embraced DL songs as much as RB did they still would be on top.

I know that when the game is being played, focus is shifted to the lines of gems but...

Is it just me or does anyone else think the 4 drum concert looks kind of awkward? That is not to say that it will prevent the arguments over who wants to play what instrument.

...must get crowded (with 4 drum sets in front of the television) I might add. :)

60$ for a new GH game or 50$ for 4000 points and get most of the bands or songs that featured in this. GH=rip off. RB=quality.

Can't wait for this game. I love how instead of making me bother buying a bunch of DLC songs activision releases a new game. I still firmly believe Guitar Hero is far superior to rockband.

GH is fun, but i must admit, i have been pretty disapointed with the set lists in the last 2, except the tool....that was very cool. i personally don't care about making a new band, or an updated rocker creation system or whatever. i am a big fan of DLC and i prefer it over the new disc, i have more control over the songs i pay for. also, something rb did right, was the import keys. i love the access to all my songs in rb2.

Guitar Hero 5 FTW, although not all will agree, but the truth is if you build it they will come and as long as the people keep buying these games, like me, they're gonna keep coming out. Criticize all you want haters, but the developers at Activision will keep innovating as long as they have ideas in their heads. I for one am glad and I can't wait to see the complete setlist. September is going to be a very good month. Yay Guitar Hero 5!!!!

When will Activision quit milking this franchise and it's fans? Tht's right...never.

This is the reason why i prefer Rock Band over Guitar Hero on any give day. Why continue to buy $60 games when you can just own RB 1 or 2 & just buy the DLC of your choice. Thank you Harmonix & EA for not releasing a new $60 game every few months. Just bring on the DLC.

i like rock band more because all of your dlc will work with any rock band game and you can download most all of the rock band songs as DLC so in future games for rock band they will all work....guitar hero just has specific songs for specific games

Well it looks good i liked GH:Metallica but its better than clapping your hands on the mic i mean who wants to do that to your favorite songs? thats just annoying, BUT they should done something that RB did, Download the songs from the first game to the second in which if GH did that then it will in a good compitition!

hey haters guitar hero 5 = over 80 songs. 160 ms points
(or 1.99) per song in dlc. so if you do the math 80x 160= 12800 ms points and that equals 160 dollars (159.2 dollars). so who is getting ripped offffff
stop hating because you guys dont know what the hell you are talking about i will pay 60 dollars for a brand new game with better grafixs more inovations for less than half of what i would pay for dlc. So please dont bring up the freaking argument that activision is ripping people offffffffff becuase they are not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go ahead a play rockband the same gameplay the same multiplayer the same grafixs and paying through the roof for a song, i for one am sticking with guitar hero, the original band freaking game !!!!!!!!

Rock Band, a.k.a Harmonix, is the original developer of Guitar Hero. So rock Band, a.k.a. Harmonix, is the original "band freaking game."

To me when I play RB , it feels more realistic. Notes are timed right, quality is fantastic. But with GH, ever since GH:3 It feels more like really fast fret mashing. It gets old. Thankfully I'm getting RB2 this weekend. I'm also planning on getting RB: The Beatles :D

P.S. Why couldn't they have put all of the songs on smash hits on GH:WT DLC? WHY???
