Welcome to "Morning Hangover" -- an excellent way to start your day with the crew at TheFeed...no matter what you're recovering from. Every morning you'll hear musings from two of TheFeed's editors and have the chance to share your thoughts on what's going on in the gaming world. So buckle up, thank the deity of your choice that it's Friday, and keep reading!

Wii Vitality Sensor

Raymond Padilla: In an interview with Fast Company, Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime said that people will be all, "Wow, I get it," when they see the Wii Vitality Sensor in action. He used the example of the Wii Balance Board not looking like much fun, but people love it when they experience the full software-hardware combo. The example is a stretch. People have been using balance boards for fun physical activity for decades; they can be fun without clever software. A heart-rate monitor? Not so much. Nintendo's software will have to be amazingly clever if it hopes to make a clinical device entertaining. I'm not sold yet, but if anyone company can pull it off, it's Nintendo.

Overlord: Dark Legend Launch Trailer »

Patrick Klepek: I've managed to finish Ghostbusters: The Video Game -- which, if you haven't played it yet, do so immediately; it's essentially an awesome, interactive sequel to the first movie -- which means I'm moving onto something new. It's a question of "what next?" I was legitimately pumped for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but sadly, the tutorial alone dashed my hopes this was the Transformers video game I'd been waiting for. Maybe next time? In any case, it's looking likely I'll be flicking on the ol' Wii again and checking out Overlord: Dark Legend. Haven't heard of it? I'm not surprised. It's essentially a behind-the-shoulder real-time-strategy game with a welcomed dash of British humor. Seriously: it's worth checking out.

    Yeah, I dont see the kids waiting in line to get their hands on the Wii Heart Rate monitor, some ideas are just rather...dull. As for Ghostbusters, still need to pick it up. Looking forward to the new movie coming to us.

    I thought Ghostbusters was terrible. It felt boring and broken. The controls were everywhere and the missions were pretty lackluster. I was really excited when I started it up and 30 minutes in I was like " WTF ? is this ".

    To each their own though.

    Random question

    Anyone using gamefly at all? I was thinking about it because there are a lot of games I want to play through but don't wanna throw down the cash each time. Just wondering, input would be great, thanks!

    @klepek

    you really thought that ROTF was going to be the "transformers game you were waiting for"? Youve seen the movie, right? While i agree with you that there COULD be an awesome transformers game made, it will never happen. Not as long as the d bags over at hasbro continue to license that franchise to old dudes who know nothing about the mythology of the cartoon series/ comic book or market their games/movies to 12 year olds who think skyfire should have a cane or laugh at blatantly stereotypical autobot "twins" that slap each other and call each other bitches

    @babyscott...
    Yea i use gamefly and i can tell you that it saves me a lot of money. You can even buy the games directly from them if you like it and they will give you a discount for being a member.
    I would recommend it if you're into saving some cash.

    I also use Gamefly, and have played a purchesed many games that I otherwise would not have played. And the discount from being a member for a year is fantastic. I would recommend going with the two game membership, otherwise it can be difficult to get a new game when it comes out.

    I use a $20 dollar movie pass at blockbuster, i can trade in and switch for movies or games any time. At $9 bucks a pop for games at the store, the pass is awesome.

    hmm, I can see the vitality sensor used for horror games and maybe a new incredible hulk game where you get your heart rate to a certain level and you turn into the jolly green giant, but I'm not sure what else it can be used for.

    and on another note I have been playing Overlord for the Wii and it is fantastic! The controls are great and it's hilarious!

    Does this mean you all would not mind jumping into a Giant Pie with Brian Leahy? No offense Brian, but I think I'll sit this one out. However if we were jumping into a Giant PB&J then I'd be down, he'll have to take a shave though...

    BUG: I'm running Firefox (it seems more frequent on the PC version, insert Apple biased comment here) Now:

    When I first open the page, the avatars or symbol counter-part is there for everyone, looking good. When I refresh the page after I comment (but not before) all I see is text in place of the avatars that overlaps the names. Unless your name is minimal characters, like mine.

    @ RROD (I hope you get the honor of being my last comment that starts like this)

    There's a new reply system in town. Check under your previous comment.
