On Monday, I reported that Hulu appeared to be disabled on the PlayStation 3 with the video-streaming site blocking the PlayStation 3's browser. Hulu still hasn't given a reason. Today, some clever users have figured out how to workaround the issue. You're going to need a computer running Linux or Windows and some third-party software, however.
The hack involves using a proxy server to trick Hulu into thinking that your PS3 is a Windows machine running Firefox. You can find the instructions here, but honestly, it's probably not worth doing all of this for Hulu on your TV.

ya you could do all that or you can download a program called PlayOn. check it out. its does hulu and netflix on the ps3 and 360. ive got it and i love it!

I just tried another Hulu video and for some reason I can still watch videos(Show, commercials and all).
I tried it on the PS3 in my living room, did not work, tried it on the one in my bedroom, it works.Weird.

ya playon is great alternative to cable. i dont watch much tv so this service is good for me. adult swim is on there too. you can stream your music and picture with playon also.

Forget Hulu there are plenty of sites that work on the PS3 like surfthechannel. If businesses son't want viewers we can always go back to torrenting everything

i really hope sony and hulu work this out, because i watch Hulu on my TV via PS3 a lot. Given my work schedule it is a great solution for on-demand free TV and it always worked very well. I also like watching youtube on my TV via ps3 too, the browser runs it great. its alittle let down by youtube vid quality. but anyway, overall i'm a big fan of the making use of the PS3 browser and i need my hulu.

I just press CTRL+SHIFT+T, switch to the VGA input on my TV, and viola. ^_^
PlayOn is what I used before, and it's still fantastic software worthy of its asking price. ^_^

Whatever the reason, Hulu needs to get on the horn and explain what's going on. I really don't understand why they haven't.

Who cares....Youtube still works on the Ps3 and I find it better than Hulu because it has all the Hulu vids on it.

I just sent them an email expressing my displeasure with their lack of support. I don't expect a response, but if more people were to voice their concerns, maybe they could see the audience that they are alienating.

But for what it’s worth I'm writing to inform you that until your site is re-enabled for the Playstation 3 web browser I will no longer be visiting your site via any means and will encourage others to do the same. When I noticed this I wrote Hulu support and asked why they waste money on their "we are aliens" advertising campaign if they don't actually want people to watch Hulu. No response (yet).
