and thought, "This is fun, but I wish I wasn't controlling it!" Sony has announced just the piece of entertainment for you: That's right, the big-screen adaptation of Uncharted is officially on its way.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner. and written Kyle Ward, a name you may recognize. Ward is quickly becoming Hollywood's go-to writer when it comes to video game adaptations. Ward is the writer of the eagerly awaited (?) Kane & Lynch movie and was hired to work on Hitman as well.
No other details of the movie have been released. No one knows who will direct or who will star, but that shouldn't stop us from speculating, right? I'd like to see Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers cast in the lead, and I'd like to see German art-house director Werner Herzog tapped to direct: Since all video game movies suck, you might as well make it suck in an interesting way! What do you think? Who would you like to see star in this movie?

I don't know but is anyone feeling Mini-me by chance? Yes, Mini-me the character, LOL!! Not only will it rock but him shooting and swinging to the trees, legends are born right there baby.

if they haven't cast it or picked a director and it's not really written yet than it isn't in production. it's in pre-pre production.

Anyway, I think it's a little odd to be making a movie based on a game that played out like a movie. Except for a few story elements that took place in the gameplay, you could just take the cutscenes from the game and watch those. Even the final boss was mostly quick time events, and that's just like watching a movie where you have to push buttons sometimes.

This game so cinematic, it was only a matter off time for it to be adapted into a live-action. I think Nathan Fillon from Firefly/ Serenity should be Nathan Drake. He would be perfect.

I really can't see anyone else but him in this role. Although if this movie is in fact made, it'll be hard to have it stand apart from Indiana Jones in it's look and feel.

Hey at least they can do it properly. It's an adventure movie, and there have been many successful ones in the past. So I'm intrested in this one, and it might actually be good.

Are you kidding me! They should star the voice actors for the roles that they play in the game, i mean has anyone seen what they look like!? EVERY SINGLE voice actor looks exactly like the person that they play as in the game.
