The weekend is finally here! Tons of us at TheFeed have grand plans to travel the world, party like rock stars, go on major shopping sprees, save dolphins, and more. The one thing we all have in common is that a good chunk of our weekends will be spent playing games. Here's the first (of what will be several) lists of what TheFeed crew is playing. Naturally, all of us want to know what games you're playing this weekend. It would also be fun to see if you think any of TheFeed writers are nuts for playing the games they play. Be sure to leave a comment and leave your weekend playlist.

The first list is presented in alphabetical order by last names.

Billy Berghammer: Ohhhh, too much to play this weekend and actually, this is a very special weekend for me for two reasons. Since it’s the 10 year anniversary of a website I created -- Planet GameCube/Nintendo World Report (shameless plug) -- I am going to go back and play a few different GameCube and Wii games. Most likely I’ll be tossing in Eternal Darkness, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Mario Kart Wii, and House of the Dead: Overkill, but who knows. The second reason this weekend is important is my favorite hockey team is in town -- The Minnesota Wild and they’re playing the LA Kings. It’s a very important game. So to warm up, I’ll probably be playing some NHL09.

Stephen Johnson: I was gonna spend the weekend completing my second Fallout 3 game (this time I’m evil, mwah-ha-ha!), but the buggy-ass game freezes outside of Rivet City every time I load a save. Second choice: The new GTA IV content. But I’m just not into it for some reason. I played the first few missions and noticed a “drive to this place and shoot these guys” repetition of missions that killed my interest. So I’m playing Dead Space. Which is some sick and scary ass sh*t!

Jeffrey Kanjanapangka: Flying out of town this weekend, I will definitely be packing Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS) for the duration of the flight. I still haven’t been able to deal with the emotional loss of losing members of my army, but I’ll learn to deal in time. 'Til then, I’ll be selling their equipped items for more goodies. Once back on land, a mix of Halo Wars, Killzone 2, Team Fortress 2, Dawn of War II and Empire: Total War should keep my blood sugar normal while I mourn the loss of my cavalier Abel.

Brian Leahy: I’m going to continue to feed my Street Fighter IV addiction. I’ll be playing ranked games online for most of the weekend. Hopefully, I can push my win rate over 70% and get my BP back over 2000. After that, I might play some more Killzone 2, but the controls really do piss me off enough to ignore the game. Finally, I hope to put some more time into Dawn of War II multiplayer. Look for me online -- PC/Xbox 360: empathe360, PSN: empathe.

Raymond Padilla: In a perfect world, I'd be playing more Street Fighter IV on my Xbox 360. Sadly, my 360 has been sent in for repair for the second time this year. There's nothing I really want to play on the PlayStation 3 at the moment, so it looks like my Nintendo DS will be getting some love. My copy of Dragon Quest V is waiting to be opened and a great friend of mine at Gamasutra has been raving about the game. I love Japanese role-playing games and my friend has excellent taste, so I'm going to give it a whirl. Looks like I'll spend the weekend beating the crap out of slimes!

Joseph Paulding: I was late to the party on Fallout 3, and this weekend I’m planning on digging deeper into the wasteland on a good karma playthrough. At my last level-up, I passed on the Bloody Mess perk, but I think my hunger for excessive gore will need to be satisfied with exploding limbs and bloody appendages as soon as I gain some more XP. Otherwise, I hope to spend a little more time with Street Fighter IV, but the pull of Fallout is strong, so we’ll see.
