X-Play has announced its list of winners for the sixth annual X-Play Best of 2008 Awards. The whole list follows, but here is the Game of the Year video.
And now, below the jump, please check out the entire list of winners.
As you can see from the list, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was the big winner, with four awards, while Fable II took home the coveted Game of the Year prize, beating out the likes of Resistance 2 and Fallout 3. “The game’s charming settings, elegant combat and accessibility without compromising depth all worked together to create our favorite gaming experience of the year, said Adam Sessler, X-Play Host and Editor in Chief, G4 Games and Content.
“The categories were all very close calls,” said Morgan Webb, Host of X-Play. “And a gamer can’t go wrong choosing any game nominated, winner or not.”
