In yet another act of forward thinkingness, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry recently told Spinner.com that some of the band’s new songs may be made available via Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Activision/Neversoft, multi-platform) down the line.
Ya see, the band is currently writing material for its zillionth album and is expected to enter the studio at the end of September to begin recording.
"We'll probably release some of the music from our new record as a download so kids can plug it in and play some new tunes on the game," Perry said.
The band's last album of original material was 2001’s Just Push Play, though an all-covers live was issued in 2004, Honkin' on Bobo. Neither one of 'em touch Rocks or Toys In The Attic. Just sayin'...
