Spike is putting out his cigs and rallying up his intergalactic group to hit the big screen. In an interview with IF Magazine, producer Erwin Stoff is working with Fox to make a live-action feature film of the anime favorite, Cowboy Bebop.
"I'm really excited to be working on it," said Stoff, who also produced A Scanner Darkly, starring Keanu Reeves and Robert Downey Jr. Originally released in Japan on 1998, Cowboy Bebop revolves around the story of Spike and his crew of bounty hunters (Cowboys) as they go around galaxies searching for the next loot. An animated feature film, Cowboy Bebop The Movie, was released in the U.S. in 2002.
Space cowboys, hot chicks and guns - count us all in.
