The American Mall is a musical romantic comedy/drama set...wait for it...in a mall. It centers on high school graduate Ally (Nina Dobrev), a singer/songwriter fighting to save her mother's music store and to keep the boy she loves, Joey (Rob Mayes), a musically gifted young janitor who fronts a garage band.

The American Mall will begin shooting in late January at a mall in Provo, Utah to premiere this summer on the cable network, followed immediately by a release on DVD.
