Joost is Napster's video streaming service that currently deals only with video on demand. They don't really have the content to back up the service right now, but they are looking to get into live TV.
This would be great. If they could sign deals with networks to carry live TV it will truly be the next step in Inernet TV. Joost plans on conducting a limited test in the first quarter of 2008 with a small number of their users.
Imagine, being able to watch real TV over internets at the same time as people who pay for cable. Wait... that sounds absolutely too good to be true.
Also launching with this service... subscription fees! Mark our words!
