Gamer David Harr wanted to finish all the achievements in Perfect Dark: Zero. Someone wanting to 100% that particular title is newsworthy in itself, but Harr built a robot to finish the final challenge.
To win the last 60 points in Perfect Dark: Zero, Mr Harr figured he needed to play 2,000 offline matches. No one is going to play that much PD:Z, so Harr invented a machine to push the buttons again and again, starting 2,000 matches and gaining him his coveted 60 points.
Using $60 worth of electronics and some parts he had lying around, Mr Harr built an xBot machine in about 10 hours.
Very cool, Mr. Carr. Very uncool, Perfect Dark: Zero. That has to be among the lamest achievements we've ever heard of.
