For all you iPod haters it might be time to reconsider the company who coined the term, "walkman."
Sony is looking at taking another stab at the world of digital walkman players with a flash version that will compete against the iPod Nano and SanDisk's Sansa.
Nameless for the moment, the Sony player (similar to those pictured) will be available with either a 2, 4 or 8GB storage capability and here's the kicker...the ability to play video....for roughly 8 to 10 hours. Having a larger screen than the iPod Nano, Sony is also designing the screen for landscape viewing.
And for those of you who love those iPod colors, Sony will be tossing out a few of their own...violet, black, blue and pink.
Keep an eye out for the player sometime in the coming weeks with a street date expected to be this coming March.
