Microsoft's brand new Vista operating system may be very pretty, but according to game publisher, the OS will break about 90% of Windows games.
The problem lies mainly with Vista's enhanced security.
"It's almost certain that Vista's digital rights technology will break existing casual games," said Alex St. John, teh president of casual game company Wild Tangent. For example saving game progress won't be able with Vista, he said.
Another problem: A parental filter unique to Vista that blocks games based on ESRB ratings. Most casual games you might download aren't rated, so are stopped automatically.
