The PS3 has really come into its own lately, and many of the exclusives this year pushed the hardware to its limits and really showed us what the console was capable of.

In the video below, Adam Sessler gives our picks for the Top 5 PS3 Games this holiday season including Killzone 2, InFamous, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Assassin's Creed Welcome to Morning Hangover -- an excellent way to start your day with the crew at TheFeed...no matter what you're recovering from. Every morning you'll hear musings from our editors and have the chance to share your thoughts on what's going on in the gaming world.

What the hell do vegetarians eat on Thanksgiving? I asked MMO Report producer and actual vegetarian Patrick Roche-Sowa this very question, and he said: "Tofurkey is actually really tasty."

If you're lucky enough to have never heard of Tofurkey, let me hip you to its existence. It's a fake turkey made from tofu. And no, it is not "actually really tasty." I can say this confidently, without ever having eaten one. Want to hear the weird part? Patrick says he didn't even eat Tofurkey last night. Instead, he eschewed Thanksgiving feasting altogether and had a salad or something. Roche-Sowa is some kind of Communist.

Anyway, I'm going to burn off yesterday's Tryptophan with a rousing game of Assassin's Creed 2 now. What are you up to today?

TheFeed gang wants your thoughts on gaming, tech, zombie turduckens, and more. Let everyone know what you're thinking and chat it up with your fellow readers. Leave comments on anything and everything that's on your (gaming/tech/nerd) mind!

Oh, kids...oh, KIDS! You know, lots of places will give you a buyer's guide for the holiday season, but how many of them will go to the trouble of making it last a month long? Only one mighty Buyers Guide has that muscle, and that throbbing muscle belongs to Attack of the Show.

With Black Friday lingering and just a small handful of games left in 2009, it’s high time to take a refresher course in some of this year’s biggest and best reviews. I’ve broken down most of our most illustrious verdicts, platform by platform, to pick out some samplings of read (and watch) worthy material. On Tuesday, I focused on handheld and PC highlights from 2009. Yesterday, I lasered in on the best multiplatform and downloadable games. And, because you need something to do either before eating turkey or before camping out in the freezing cold for a $200 game console and free games (I've been watching those Black Friday specials too, y'know), today brings the best reviews across platform exclusives. Also, please feel free to send me links of awesome Flip cam videos of people fighting over sale items.

Put on your reading glasses; without further ado, here’s the grand finale of G4’s The Reviews of 2009...In Review!

PlayStation 3

The days of Lair and Haze are long behind the PlayStation 3. The PS3 has seen a strong year of console exclusives in 2009, including a visually gorgeous first-person shooter, a masterfully-crafted open world encounter, and the maturation of a rugged explorer. Oh, and some Japanese game where you die a lot. Here’s a sampling of some of PS3 titles from this year:

Killzone 2 - 5/5

“Do you like shooters?  Do you hate things with red eyes?  Have you posted in forums every day for the past month about how Killzone 2 was forged on the peak of Mount Olympus by the hand of Zeus himself?  If your answer to any of these questions is even remotely affirmative, we suggest you play this game.”

inFamous - 5/5

“Open-world sandbox games have a depressing tendency to stick to the mundane. For all the over-the-top violence and mayhem of games like Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row, you’re still just a guy or girl with a gun. Outside of the occasional licensed game, few sandboxers dare to tackle the idea of superpowers, and those that have tend to be disappointments, with the notable exception of Crackdown. It’s time to expand that exceptions list by one, thanks to Sucker Punch’s exceptional inFamous.”

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Right now you're either waiting to eat or attempting to digest while in the fetal position. Both are perfect oppertunities to take a moment and watch this week's MMO Report. Today Casey will give you the dates for Star Trek Online's open beta, tell you about a Zombie MMO, and brings back WTF Second Life just for the holiday weekend. That's something to be thankful for.

Sackboy TurkeySome choose to spend Thanksgiving Day enjoying a Norman Rockwell-esque down-home dinner with turkey, stuffing and all the fixings, and some would rather share an old bologna sandwich with a stray dog-- hey, whatever makes you happy. But either way, today is a big day for eating and/or gathering with loved ones. But is it a big day for gaming?

For me, it is. After parades on TV, a huge dinner and various football games are finished, my friends and family are playing games.  Today, we'll be playing The Beatles: Rock Band with family after we eat pie, and we might even dust off the Wii for a little Wii Sports.

What about you? Are you gaming this Turkey-Day? Or is the console off limits until the day of family togetherness mercifully ends?

Supercross master Ricky Carmichael urges you to "sit down, slide up, put your leg out, slide up on the bike and just lean it over." He says so himself in the brand new MX Vs. ATV Reflex video you see below.

MX vs. ATV Reflex Ricky Carmichael Trailer »

Not many people know this about Carmichael, but along with SuperCross, he grows prize winning San Maranzo tomato plants. (Not really.)  You'll be able to play MX Vs. ATV Reflex early in 2010 on the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PSP and 360.

If the full game is anything like the demo (and let's not pretend it won't be), then I am sorely disappointed. The new physics engine does not work well with the game, and independent controls make it feel like you haven't played this game before. It is too far away from its roots. Mx vs ATV Unleashed has the best and simplest physics engine, and it has gone downhill from there. Mx vs ATV Untamed felt a little bit more stale, and after that comes reflex; an even worse experience. ...

Ah, Thanksgiving football. Truly there is nothing greater! There are a lot of great games on today:

  • Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
  • Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants at Denver Broncos

Clearly, the only thing to do was use Madden NFL 2010 to determine which teams will emerge victorious today. Please do not use the results in any gambling or gambling related activities. Watch the video and go ahead and leave your predictions in the comments section.

(Go Giants!)

What the G4 Staff is Thankful For

Eric Eckstein, Director of Gaming Editorial -- G4tv.com

I am thankful for the rise of cooperative gaming, because without it, I would probably be writing this surrounded by my cats. I learned long ago that adversarial gaming with loved ones leads to no good and inviting friends over to watch me play Dragon Age: Origins just doesn’t have the same appeal as getting together for Halo 3: ODST.  So now, thanks to clever game developers everywhere, there’s more compelling cooperative gaming than I can shake a joystick at; what a wonderful world!

Morgan Webb, Host -- X-Play

I'm thankful January is going to be as big for games as the holiday season. May the summer drought never come!

Andrew Pfister, Senior Games Editor -- G4tv.com

After what has unequivocally been the most difficult and challenging year of my life, I am thankful that I landed in Los Angeles with a job at G4 and have had the opportunity to enrich my life with new friends. The invisible bond that forms just by sharing a hobby with someone can put you on the most interesting paths in life, and when times are less than stellar, it's those people that are there to get you through it, hang out, and throw you into Piranha Plants. Also, I am thankful for beer.
