G4 - The Block

THE BLOCK is back for a second season and this time they're taking over Big Bear. G4's bringing you an all new cast full of smokin' hotties and awesome boarders set to turn this SoCal town upside down. From party girl Nikki to Zen master boarder Lee Roy, this cast will not disappoint.

THE BLOCK takes an inside look at the sick lifestyles of snowboarders and what it takes to be one of a few privileged employees living the dream life. Snowboarding icon Marc Frank Montoya and hotel co-owner Liko Smith crank it up as they weed out the weak. We'll be there every step of the way starting things off with staff training in early winter. This time around the lucky hopefuls earn their spots as employees at The Block. And the whole time they'll be hitting the slopes and partying harder than you thought possible without getting arrested.

im done. i hav 2 go back to a wack 9-5 "real" job behind a desk, doin nothin but makin 40k a year, regretting going to college instead of droppin out to live and chase a "Pro-Snowboarding" career and Wishin i could do what u guys do... which is being a bum, havin nothin 2 do but talkin ish about peeps who neva caused u no harm and who u dont even truly know.

Well, 8 years in the Marines and 4 years of college and teaching disabled people how to snowboard have a tentancy to put a little delay on sponsorships. I figure that other accomplishments outside of getting sponsored are important as well. Not getting my head blown off in Iraq and obtaining a Masters degree are secondary right? Besides my life IS the Block. I couldn't care less about some show that is an incling compared to what I live every day. The chicks are hot though. Maybe people should think before they begin to throw negative comments at others. Unless you're a narrow-minded, prepubescent highschooler.

Haha I didnt work at the block and never will after all the stuff I saw go down. You can all think it's the most happen'n place on earth but none of the stuff that is on the show would have happened without the cameras there, good hard working people lost their jobs and their dignity for nothing... sorry if you all thought I was hating but I was just telling the truth like it or not it doesn't matter to me

Ok I will sign up for next season and you all show up can't wait if you had 8 years in the marines you probably would be hired as a General Manager pretty easily - again that is if you can board - oh wait your sponsored what do you care what a bunch of CHILDREN do? Wow what happened at THE BLOCK that was so great that there is so much jealousy?

Why are they waiting to air the next episode until 11pm Sunday? What happened to 530pm? Who is GUNMETAL GROUP? Did you see that guy Master Sgt Sigloch he looked pretty legit! WHERE DO WE SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT BOOTCAMP?? No one has answered f78k the haters I want to board and compete on TV for a job at a hotel.

Well, spring skiing/riding is among us. Spring wax and ladies in bakinis. Next to riding the light pow pow waist deep I'd have to say it's a close second. Drowning oneself in sunshine and frosty beverages is a good ending to a killer season. Go Top Sigloch!

dstroyer01 j/k. seriously, like all shows, of course the network and editors didn't show everything. There was probably a lot of stuff that wasn't shown to make the peeps drop the bootcamp. They neva really showed how or why certain people were picked over others like why wasn't Evan and Brad picked and some other people who were neva even seen until the choosing part. And why weren't some of those other cute chicks picked over less atractive chicks. Maybe Liko did pick seriously? Who knows? If the show moves to Colorado, Canada or Switzerland, Im gonna apply. I love California, but Colorado has a bunch of back country that i would love to board on...

Sheeeit! Just got dumped on here in Aspen. 'Bout 6 inches. Antone else get hit? Tryin' to get outta here to Mexico, but apparently Old man winter just won't let go. By the way, where the hell did April go? Oh, and yes onelove4snow, the back country out here in Colorado is da' bomb. Get ahold of me if yer out in my neck of the woods. It may be spring, but the best is yet to come snow-wise for the back country. Paraise divide, here I come!

The block is awesome and I think the new bootcamp element is quite good because after the Season 1 disaster in the hotel (manager getting fired, hotel falling apart), these new employees need a good whippin' or two so it doesn't happen again.

This is supposed to be a gaming channel, right? And Gamers should know about computers and graphics, right? So u would think that G4 would probably have the coolest and easiest website that any1 could operate. But like Charlie Murphy said, "WRONG!" I hope u G4 Web-Techs read this bc peeps always ask how they can download "The Block Season 2" but it takes them 4ever to find it-and download it-and then they give up on it if it's not a click away. Cant u guys just put a link on this page that says= "DOWNLOAD SHOW NOW" ? Hmmm?... Urrwhack!!!

Steezmaster, I 2nd that suggestion. But G4 aint on top of theyre ish. Does The Block even have a consistant time? Ive seen an ad that says 11pm Eastern Time, but Satellite and Digi-Cable have diff times. I think Satellite always plays Eastern Times. G4...! ARE U GUYS LISTENING TO YOUR VIEWWERS? ESP THE ONES WHO MAKE SENSE AND WATCH? Like Steezmaster said, y dont u make The Block an HOUR? Im pretty sure it'll b ok w viewers. And at least have repeats on @ a consistant time so viewers can recap.

Come in G-4 - thanks for the ninja warrior marathon in the middle of a show e already can't find a schedule or the episodes to download? Where if anyone did find season 2 did you find the episodes to download??? It will be so much easier to watch them in order.

Technical network does nothing but rant and rave over every techy thing known to man - be so 80's about their own website and it's functionality? How about a BLOCK marathon, and put back in all the parts that we can tell are missing. Editor is not that good there have to be huge chunks of the show not being aired, for what to watch another display of asian brevity through a ninja warrior marathon?

I have an idea, how about allow those Gunmetal guys, and these soldiers and the AMERICANS compete for Ninja warrior!!!

Let me guess, part of the qualifications to apply are not having a full set of teeth - which is illegal to smile in many parts of this country with any teeth missing!! We have plenty of toothless people here, just watch oh right your other favorite show to air COPS!! THE BLOCK needs to air on a real network!!! all hail airing THE BLOCK on a real network say AY!

Jus saw the last 2 Eps. 1st, check out the HOT Monster Models @ www.theblockhotels.com and click the X-Game clips. The Block kids are partying and Lee Roy is WASTED! And Good job Dustin!
2nd, 4 that last Episode, I drove to Bear and it was better off being @ Pharmacy and not Snow Valley. SV is boring, there's no chicks and being urban w/ all the Bear locals was better.
It seemed Ryan didnt care to do anything and Brad kept saying Liko was telling him not to help Lee Roy. I wonder if they were all trying to set Lee Roy up to fail...

Please bring the block back for a third season. I could do without the cheesy drill sargeant thing though, felt like that was just for the cameras. I would like to see more riding on the mountain, more events/parties that happen there, maybe a back and forth between the block hotels instead of just focusing on one resort.

Are they going to release the block seasons on dvd? I would totally buy it, in fact I just got off of amazon trying to find it. Plus if you sold it at ski/snowboard shops, you could attract a much larger audience that probably isn't aware of this show.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE BLOCK FOR SEASON 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought both seasons on itunes, you should really release it on DVD too. I would buy the seasons again if they came out on DVD. What will it take to get a season 3?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Block is closed!!!!!!!!!!! Liko Smith has several misdemeanor charges and a felony charge against him for not paying taxes. read up at http://www.boardistan.com/?p=7 971. There are testimonials from employees, investors, and friends about how Liko screwed them. Damn! I wish this amazing idea for a hotel for snowboarders was not ruined by a posing, lying and stealing a$$#0le. F^$& you Liko Smith!
