I hope this stays on permanently. This is what G4 should be about, videogames, not reruns of shows you can see on three other channels. Now the next step is getting all of these shows new episodes back on the air.

Back in the good old days the first thing i would do when i got home from school is watch G4 Tech TV. It had great video game shows and i loved it. But now those great video game shows have been replaced with stupid shows like cops and cheaters. It's great that G4 rewind brought back some of the great video game shows but there are still some missing. Ever since G4 Tech TV became G4TV It has nothing but crap. Even X-play which use to be my favorite show has gone soft on us. I use to watch x-play every day even re-runs but now I hardly watch it cause all i get is boaring updates and hands on game demos instead of funny but also informative game reveiws. But if G4 actually reads our comments G4 will return to its glory days.

What about screen savers and call for help. Those were some of the best shows on Techtv. I watched the old xplay for the first time today and I had forgotten that it used to be funny, and also educational. Now xplay is more feeding to the frenzy of noobs. Almost like the noob effect(http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=n7VAhzPcZ-s)

Can I ask why X-Play is on here its not old G4 its Tech TV and Cheat should have Cory Rouse if its a "rewind". G4TV for gamers!!! Not cheaters, cops, heroes, and stupid sock puppets! What happen guys? You used to be cool people used to love watching you! I've only kept watching in hope that you would change back to your old ways but it appears you still aren't learning. Well at least I can have a little happiness on the very rare mornings I wake up early.

to make this short, it was recently stated from 2002-2005 they were losing tens of millions of dollars each year so they had to change. To this day they're still in the red but swiftly approaching safe ground known as the black.

Well guys we tried. We watched G4 rewind in hope that it would lead to great video game shows coming back with newer episodes but it looks like we failed. G4 rewind isn't going to air after august. I guess G4 dosen't care about gamers any more.

I loved the G4 rewind through the summer. It let me see the good shows of G4, not Ninja Warrior, Cheaters, or Cops. Seriously, "Ninja Warrior"? I wish they had shown more of the specials of the old X-Play's (like the desert episode, zombie episode, etc.). I can only hope the viewership was through the roof, so they'll reconsider showing, oh I don't know, shows about GAMES? And bring back Portal, that too And bring back the comedy to X-Play. It's sad that the last video game themed show on G4 has been stripped bare of all of the things that made it interesting. Back in the day, I lived from coming home after school to watch X-Play, and be truly entertained with the hilarious characters (Ratty and Johnny Xtreme were my personal favorites) and great sketches (like the specials or even just one-time sketches).

I watched G4-Rewind a lot during the summer. I only started watching G4 two years ago, so I can't really guage, but the older shows seemed a lot more fun than the current lineup of Cheaters and Cops they play 24/7. It was fun watching old "X-Play"'s (which had some incredible sketches) and "Cheat!"'s (I only ever saw episodes with Kristin Holt, who I think does a great job with it, so I can't say much about the original host) and Game Makers (good show), and the other shows I watched a bit of. (Mostly I watched the old X-Play's) Why can't they just continue the rewind, maybe bring a few of the shows back? It's what most of the fans want. I mean, anything seems like an improvment over some of the stuff they have on now. I mean, "Hurl!"?! G4 has a show about vomit. And they actually censor-out the vomit with those buckets. So, they are censoring the whole idea of the show... right, makes perfect sense. I watched one episode of that and turned off the TV in disgust.

WTF?! Here I am, setting my DVR for G4 Rewind and I'm not seeing my shows! Huh? Then I check the boards. OMFG. It's done? That is so messed up! Other than AOTS & X-Play & some specials (related to VIDEOGAMES - not Cops, Cheaters & Hurl marathons..boy, can't get enough of those shows..ugh), G4 Rewind is the ONLY thing I watch on this once-great channel. Where's the harm in keeping the Rewind block? Do the execs think that running MORE repeats of Ninja Warrior, Cops & Cheaters is going to somehow increase their viewer-share and advertisement revenue?! Oh, and don't forget what a gold-mine Hurl is! I'll bet Spike TV's really mad THEY didn't think of it first. Well, at least they still have Manswers - that is until G4 picks it up in syndication and begins airing it ad-nauseum. If Rewind isn't coming back I'm going to be both really PISSED, sick to my stomach & cheated (I can't decide which one I'll feel more). C'mon, G4. DO THE RIGHT THING & KEEP REWIND ON THE AIR!

I miss all of the old programs, even when it G4 and TechTV were separate. The only shows I watch on G4tv now are AOTS & X-Play, but the stuff that they are doing on those shows sometimes makes me change the channel. What new format is G4 changing to? Cops, Cheaters, Hurl, and now Lost. It's bad enough that they did the 2.0 BS on shows like Star Trek, Cops, and what ever other ones there are, but now they have all the crap just mentioned plus movies. If G4 can't come up with the money for good programs, maybe they should just sell out to some computer gaming geek type who has the spare cash. Maybe Bill Gates is looking for a new hobby, running a gaming tech tv network. Just my 2 cents, take it as you want to.

why did g4 sell out they whore themselves out to get any show possiable that would sopposed to give them a bigger audience like bad shows as cops and cheaters when both those shows are on 20 different channals really g4 needs to bring back judgment day and electric playground i miss tom and vic on my tv yeah sure i got it with the rewind but that was only the summer and summer is over next bring back the old xplay when they actually reviewed games not just tell me about it and how it was actually funny now its just straight to business and that only gives one damn review and episode also bring back cheat to have its own show and that one episode talks about one good game a episode not a bunch of bad games in one

Although G4 has scaled G4 Rewind to 90 min let alone keep it on, It's nice that they decided to give it another try. They're airing the newer cheat episodes so people who haven't seen them finally can and of course Game Makers continues. It turns out that on Oct.6, Blister is coming back at 10 a.m.

No. G4 is much better now than they used to by miles after Neal explaining everything. I find it awful viewers here are insisting they bankrupt this company. G4 just needs to schedule better for the weekends. I'm just not understanding it. What they could do is put a weekend block of G4 Rewind on so they have plenty of room to work with including afternoons and evenings. I'd love to see Attack of the Show '05 return. The weekdays didn't provide much schedule space to work with at all. Of course it's completely up to G4 to make that choice.

So, to start off i want to say that the best show in the wold by far is portal. It introduced me to all the worlds of online games. With its crazy characters and amazing plot, that even tho, was running in between vast different game worlds felt more like a living breathing world and story, rather then just looking at different game characters doing different emotions with voice overs. I am a stoner and as such i dont want to be watching cops, nor does cops remind me of viceo games in anyway aside from when i run them over in gta. Star trek is ok cause its for the geeks out there like me.

But i remember when i was younger running home from my bus stop in order to catch portal, and then feeling empty when the show ended, but the awesomness of cinematech was right there to pick me back up, along with game makers. And i used to love learning about the past of video games, how the atari was made and how games have evolved, and about that guy that hold the pacman world record tho i dont remember his name. And the history of mario. But now all that was good and true to gamers in a tv station is gone. Now im left with a bunch of japanease people running around which is just stupid i dont care how much of a fan base it has, if you want it go order a jap channel. And cheaters, they already run that on te spike channel or something down where i live so its stupid having such a horrible show take over two channels.

And once again thats a show that has nothing to do with video games or gamers. You know why cause gamers dont cheat, they play games, they dont have the time. Bring back portal in a new series or give me the old episodes on DVD charge me 80$ if you want ill buy them cause they were worth it. One last flame. Adam and Morgan. Love his stupid humor, and shes kind of hot. But in my opinion. The show should have someone who likes sports/driving/action games, someone who like rpg/mmo/fantasy games nd someone who likes fps/adventure games. Two people dont share the views of everyone get some versatility. I refuse to watch G4 ever since they raped my childhood by stealing all the shows that were amazing and made the station what it was.

Alright, so the powers-that-be decided to throw us a scrap from the dinner table that is G4TV Rewind and give us back episodes of Blister & Cheat (but only the ones w/ Ms. Hot..er, I mean Ms. Holt). Guys, if you're gonna do that, why not just bring the whole schedule back?! Really, how much revenue can you possibly get from re-runs of Cops & Cheaters?! I remember when I "found" G4 flipping channels and Portal caught my eye. I was hooked from then on, and even upped my cable plan when Comcast moved it to a higher cable package. All the shows on rewind are what made me love G4 and make me pay a ton more just to be able to watch it.But the network is losing me with just a handful of shows keeping me on ( Attack of the Show, X-Play,code monkeys,unbeatable banzuke,and ninja warrior)if I didn't have Satellite TV I would not pay the extra cable fee to keep it now. I spend more time on G4tv.com than watching it on TV now. I along with a TON of people miss the old shows and the personalities you had hosting them. It would only help if they were brought back and modernized some (like ya did with x-play). Hell then I wouldn't even mind if you ran Cheaters and Cops at 3 A.M. :)

Man, where is Anime Unleashed, that was the mess! G4 has really changed since I moved to VA. I didn't had the channel then, now that I'm back in TN, the whole programing is... not so hot. I remember the old shows from Cinematec to Arena. Now they have shows like Arrested Development and the likes. I mean, are they trying to be more like Spike TV and Fox TV? They really changed from high tech to wannabe "Guy Show". I miss the old G4 Tech TV.

I think this is a great thing that g4 is doing. for the longest time i thought they were just going the same way as mtv where all they do is put shows on the air that have nothing to do with their networks namesake. now they are finally seeing that the people that tune into a gaming network want to see shows that deal with "gasp" gaming. if the network heads dont start reading into these comments and start changing their lineup then im predicting a backlash of fed up viewers.

what about the days of filter where there was actually games on there. the days of arena where we could see gamers duke it out on multiple games. judgment day where we got multiple opinions so we could get the most bang for our buck. now the channel has little and almost no resplendence to what it used to have. now it is a copy of spike tv. next we will get people fighting in an octagon. the reason i don't say the name is so the owners of this website dont add it. dont get me rong i like ninja warrior and other shows like that, But we already have a channel for that. its called spike t.v.

I was sooo happy to see G4 rewind it reminded me of why I got dish network in the first place, but it seems that we have fail so I've cancelled G4 when it goes back to tv 4 gamers then I'll add the channel back, sadly a channel full of Crap dosent make me wanna watvh it (minus 2 good shows)
