Game Description:In an alternate version of the present, the globe has been scorched by environmental abuse. Out of the desolation, a new challenge arises - a race through the wasteland for fuel supplies. Adrenaline junkies with home-built off-road machines come from all over just for the chance to refuel. Race through an unprecedented open-ended world measuring over 5,000 square miles. Choose your own vehicle from a huge selection of two- and four-wheelers. Make your own trail as you blaze past the competition on more than 100,000 miles of track. Explore the tsunami-wrecked Pacific Coast, the desert wastes, and treacherous forests. Race day and night through sunshine and rain just for the chance to get some precious fuel.

Review Summary »

It's hard to get too excited by yet another racing game, but occasionally one comes along and just blows your mind. The last time that happened for many for 'Burnout 3' and then 'Burnout Paradise', but for others it was 'GRID' and 'Dirt'. If the publisher of the latter two isn't a household name for racing fans yet, it should be. Codemasters's name is starting to become synonymous with great racing action, but they've outdone themselves with the off-road racer, 'Fuel'.
