A Wi-Fi enabled portable communications and social networking device that features Google’s Android operating system and a huge, 4.3-inch touch screen. It displays at 480 x 272 resolution, and comes with 256 MB of storage. The GiiNii comes equipped with Bluetooth 2.0, a built-in microphone/speaker, and a stereo headset jack, as well as a mini USB 2.0 port for input. All that and a camera, a calculator, an address book, and an alarm, for when it's time to wake up and use it all over again.

The LG LHX's HDMI interface lives in separate box which streams content wirelessly to the 55" HD flatscreen. This internet-ready device can deliver content from YouTube and other video sharing sites as well as Netflix and CinemaNow.

Checkolite is taking multiroom audio and lighting control to the powerline. Offers whole-house music and lighting control functionality for retrofit applications – no new wires required. Checkolite will offer a Mac/PC based program that will control all the devices in the home. The software will give the user the ability to control the light and sound out of each device as well as set up room themes that can be triggered by the in wall touchpad or set up on a schedule. The software will be able to direct multiple audio signals throughout the house from a number of existing programs on your computers such as iTunes or Rhapsody.

The Pogoplug is a small device that connects to a home router and to any USB drive. After a very simple setup, users can access media and files from any locally networked computer. Additionally, all content is securely available from a Web browser outside the home, with no need to configure or compromise firewalls. There are no monthly service fees associated with the product.
