Is Obama Really the Wired President?

From his love of Crackberry to the presence of the first Nintendo Wii in the White House, there's evidence to support that Obama will be more tech friendly that past prezies, and we've got Evan Ratliff from Wired to give us his professional opinion on the whole matter.

Evan Ratliff is an award-winning freelance journalist whose writing appears in Wired magazine, The New Yorker, the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Outside, Discover, Men’s Journal, ReadyMade, and other publications. A contributing editor for Wired, he is also the co-author of Safe: The Race to Protect Ourselves in a Newly Dangerous World (HarperCollins, 2005), about the role of science and technology in homeland security. He has reported from Russia, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Brazil, and other locales abroad, on a wide range of topics including science and technology, the environment, terrorism, and transnational crime. A former fellow at both the International Reporting Project and the Japan Foreign Press Center, his reporting and humor writing have appeared in numerous anthologies, including The Best of Technology Writing 2006. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he has a degree in environmental science and policy from Duke University, and currently lives in San Francisco.

i think this is a big waste of time i not watching this clip because i mean wtf Is Obama Really the Wired President WHO CARES really come on now there is so much bigger things to talk/worry about in the time where in..........oh what before you start talking about me being a hater i voted for the man and i am so happy mccain lost obama is the better man but really g4 this time i am going to have to say you are really lowered your yourself

hey g4 do all us a favour and just talk about video games...

Anthony, your negativity is frustrating and useless. If you watched the video, and then commented, you would realize that the video was mostly about the internet communication's role in the campaign and politics in general. I'm glad you voted for Obama, but I certainly hope that you take measures to improve both your grammar, and to widen your obviously microscopically open mind.

LOL!! Now that's good...

You know, just wanna say something quick about this and literally is a game changer.

You know, just look no further but Congress, it had a pretty big effect. I waited a couple weeks or months and you do see a major shift, pretty crazy. I just think is funny that 8 years ago, no one cared but now, everyone wants twitter. Kind of reminds me of booze...
