Today's Blogwatch is dedicated to the best toy blogs on the net, so I've decided to compile a list of the top five favorite toys from my childhood. Take a heartfelt walk down memory lane with me, won't you?

Creepy Crawlers - The selling point was, you could become a pint-sized mad scientist who used a goo formula, mold and creature formation pod to create all sorts of weird insects. It was fun for a while, but when I realized it was essentially the male equivalent of an easy bake oven, and I couldn't even eat the final product, I chucked it post-haste.

Ghostbusters - How stoked are you that there's a next-gen Ghostbusters game coming out? Not as stoked as I was playing with The Real Ghostbusters toys from Kenner. The thrill of pulling the Ecto-1 out of the scale replica of the Ghostbusters' fire house or tackling the glow-in-the-dark Stay Puft Marshmallow Man with the four specter hunters themselves, or even using a kid-sized proton pack to send ghosts off to oblivion was unmatched until I discovered the pleasures of the fairer sex.

It would be cool if you had the power to see into the future. Unfortunately, unless you’ve got psychic powers that ain’t going to happen, not in the traditional way at least.

However, you can check out today’s blogs and see the future of technology and architecture. No crystal ball required.
