User Created 12/07/05
Posted By: Stephen Johnson - Wednesday, December 07, 2005 5:21 PM

We don't have a User Created winner this week because the contest is still open (we'll announce the winner next Wednesday) but here's a gallery of some of the T-Shirts we've gotten so far that we dig. Travis Mullaney's Mr. T Shirt is not only cool and retro, it's a pun. Nice.

2005 Machinima Film Festival
Posted By: Scott Moschella - Wednesday, December 07, 2005 4:41 PM
Paul Marino, Executive Director of the Machinima Academy of Arts and Sciences stopped by with some of the winners of the 2005 Machinima Film Festival.

Here are some of Paul's picks from this year's festival:
PANICS - Very funny stuff from Rooster Teeth Productions, the same guys that created the Red Vs. Blue series.
The Adventures of Bill and John - You don't even need to know French to enjoy this hilarious "Top Gun" style entry.
Game On - Winner of the Best Picture Mackie (the nickname for the Machinima film award) - A blend of live action and realtime 3D.
Person 2184 - Machinima without the video game aftertaste. You won't even be able to tell that they used Unreal Tournament to create it.

Visit the Machinima Film Festival site for a full list of this year's nominees and winners, including links to view the entries.

David Jaffe
Posted By: Stephen Johnson - Wednesday, December 07, 2005 4:17 PM

David Jaffe, Game Director of God Of War promised he was going to "F-Up" Attack of the Show on his blog.

We're still standing, David Jaffe.

Seriously, though even if he did F us up, Attack of the Show would still be overflowing with love for Jaffe for making Twisted Metal Black, for actually being honest, and for considering video games art instead of toys.

G.A.M.E
Posted By: Stephen Johnson - Wednesday, December 07, 2005 4:11 PM

In case you missed last weekend's Gamespot  G.A.M.E convention (That's Games and Music Experience, in case you ain't hep) you got to experience it vicariously through the magic of Kevin P. on today's show.

I don't know about you, but I have a new hero: Lowrider guy. I'm gonna make sure my car can hop up and down by Friday.

Don't miss tomorrow's program, where Kev will be checking out the "M" part of G.A.M.E, and bringing you information on the various musical combos and instrumentalists at the convention who edify audiophiles through their art. The kids call it "Rock and Roll" or "Hippity-Hop" or something.
