Five-piece rockers From Satellite -- Ian McDonnell on vocals, Armand Tambouris and Ryan Cleary on guitars, Justin Huth on bass, and Pat Pedraza on drums -- started in early 2001 and have been rockin' ever since. After a few lineup changes and much roadwork, the band signed to upstart label Pat's Record Company and in 2004 issued their debut album, When All Is Said And Done. The album was produced by vet Matt Hyde (No Doubt, Monster Magnet, Hotwire), and features tunes like the epic "Hundred Days," the grinding "Fair is Fair," and mid-tempo ballad "Just Another Girl," perfectly showcasing their mix of hard rock riffs and catchy, pop-driven melodies.

Mark Cotta Vaz stopped by to talk about his book Living Dangerously: The Adventures of Merian C. Cooper Creator of King Kong.

According to Vaz, Cooper did more before breakfast that you will do in your entire life: He fought in three wars, was an explorer and aviator, traveled the world, shot King Kong and had about a billion other interesting, death-defying adventures.

Kevin takes a break from murdering people with automatic weapons (in a video game sense) this Free Play Friday and gets all hippie on us with Cloud. Cloud is all about floating serenely around in the sky, preventing pollution and helping make the world a more beautiful place. Sounds fun(?).

Canadian Actress Nicole de Boer plays Sarah Bannerman on Dead Zone, and I think you will agree she is delightful.

Her career flirts constantly with Sci-Fi: She was delightful as Lt. Dax on Deep Space Nine, and she delighted us all in The Cube as well as her many other film and television roles.  I predict she will continue to delight movie and television audiences well into the future.

As far as the holiday episode of Dead Zone, it seems weird at first, but then you're like, "That's weird enough to actually be awesome." Awesome like Bad Santa crossed with the Christmas episode of Eight is Enough.
